Issue(s):
- TLS LED on controller will not light up regardless of whether the TLS is pressed or released, connected or disconnected at the wiring
- During TLS setup wizard, you are getting an error saying that the TLS is immediately triggered
Resolution(s):
Check Firmware Settings
- First, connect to gSender.
- Check your controller firmware version by clicking on the machine information (circuit board) icon. Write it down so you can refer to it later – it affects a setting we need to change.
- Go into Config and under Probe, find Invert probe inputs. Adjust your settings according to this:
Firmware that starts with 2026 or higher (e.g. 20260525, 20260318)
- Probe ON
- Toolsetter ON
All other firmware versions
- Probe ON
- Toolsetter OFF
4. Press Apply Settings, then turn OFF/ON your controller to have the changes saved.
Test the Controller
- Connect the 2 lower pins on the TLS port together with a jumper (see attached photos).
- While the pins are connected, you should see the TLS light turn on. This lets us know the board is functioning correctly, and it's the TLS that is the issue. Anytime a TLS is plugged into the board, this light should be on.
