If customers are having issues connecting the Sienci Labs spindle to the AltMill (e.g. Alarm 14 on gSender, r00.0 on VFD), have them follow the steps below.
- Open gSender and run the attached setup code, this will set all EEPROM settings to what they should be.
- Power cycle absolutely everything. Turn off the VFD and the controller. Close gSender
- Turn on the VFD first, then the controller, then connect to gSender. Ensure the VFD is plugged into the back of the controller above the power switch.
- At Spindle/Laser, in Spindle Mode select H-100 in the dropdown.
- In Console, type $spindles and press Run. Check if H-100 is selected as "Current spindle".
- In Console, type M3S10000 and press Run. See if the spindle spins properly. Or use the "Forward" button.
- In Console, type M5 and press Run. See if the spindle stops. Or us the "Stop" button.
