Spindle won't operate or turn on after swapping from the SLB-Laser to H-100 using the drop-down menu.
Resolution(s)
There is a bug in the firmware that prevents the switch to spindle mode from being made correctly after using a laser. The only way to correct this issue at the time is to turn off the controller using the slide-power switch on the back of the controller to perform a hard reset.
How to Reset Without Losing Position
Before resetting doing a hard reset on the control board, move your machine back to your material start position. This is the position you zeroed the machine to. You can do this a number of ways.
Use the goTo XY buttons to move the machine back to the XY Starting position
Then click the goto Z button to move the spindle back into position.
You may now hard reset the controller by turning it off. Turn the controller on and then reconnect. You will be able to use your spindle now.
