This guide is for using MODVFD instead of the other VFD options on gSender, to set up a spindle on the AltMill or LongMill.
Connect to gSender. Go to Config. On the search bar, type in $395, you should see the Default spindle setting show up. Select MODVFD. Press ‘Apply Settings.’
Then turn OFF and ON the controller.

Go back onto the Config, then use the search bar to find and modify the following settings. These will vary depending on the spindle you own, so you may need to contact the manufacturer. The values for the Sienci Labs Spindle are provided in the chart below.

Press ‘Apply Settings.’ Power cycle the controller again, then reconnect back to gSender. Now you can try using the controls to spin up the spindle.
