Issue(s):
- Using closed loop Vortex
- Pressing the A-axis jog button causes jogging in the Y-axis instead of the rotary
Resolution:
- Restore to default firmware settings
Go to Config, then at the bottom of the page there is a dropdown - select your correct machine type. Then press Defaults.
At the popup press Restore Defaults.
Turn OFF and ON your controller at the power slide, this will put the settings in effect.
- Put in the Vortex firmware settings as shown in these instructions.
- Once rotary controls are enabled, make sure to stay in 4th axis mode at all times. Do not switch between rotary and 4th axis.
